The Office of Engagement invites the K-12 community to connect and engage with higher education. Field trips to the University of Utah are valuable learning experience that sparks students' interests, and sets them on a path to endless career opportunities. These visits encourage students of all ages to pursue higher education, because success in college can never start too early.
Field trips to campus are designed to connect and broaden classroom curriculum with hands-on learning experiences. The Office of Engagement supports educators in utilizing the resources the University of Utah has to offer. Students in grades Kindergarten through 12th, in public, private, charter, homeschool, and youth groups are welcome!
Field trip activities range from science and engineering lab tours and demonstrations, to dissections and creating hand-made books. Participate in political and social forums, meet with faculty and students to receive in-depth knowledge on a wide array of subjects. Experience campus life from the Marriott Library to the Student Union, discover all of this on one campus!
