Project Youth -

On April 22, 2020 over 1,000 fifth and sixth graders from Title 1 elementary schools in the Salt Lake Valley will experience what it's like to be a college sudent at the University of Utah. Students will attend an assembly with campus leaders and performers, as well as two college classes from various departments.  Volunteers will act as mentors for a day by sharing their personal college experiences and leading the students throughout the various activities. Project Youth aims to promote the value of higher education and to inspire young students to work hard as they pursue the possibility of attending college.

Our goal with Project Youth is to continue working with Title 1 schools throughout the Salt Lake Valley and give a hands on experience of higher education to students both in their classrooms and on the University of Utah campus.
